How the cost compares.
This is a cost comparison, not a claim that the services are feature-for-feature identical. Competitor prices and plans can change; figures below were checked September 21, 2026 against public/official sources where available.
| Service | Pricing model | Single / entry cost | Example: 10 tracks | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NyahVolt Music Forge Your service | Included for eligible forum members; guests receive one free completed job every 24 hours; optional paid batch pricing can bypass the cooldown | FREE every 24 hours or $0.99 for a 1–3 track paid job during cooldown | $2.99 total for a paid 7–10 track guest job Included for eligible forum members | No monthly subscription planned for basic guest mastering. Free access refreshes every 24 hours; batch pricing is available to skip the cooldown. |
| LANDR | One-time per track or subscription | $10 to master a single track as a one-time purchase | About $100 if buying ten individual $10 masters | LANDR also offers subscriptions; its site lists Studio starting at $8.25/month. Feature sets differ by plan. |
| BandLab | Free mastering presets plus paid membership tiers | Four mastering presets are available free; Pro is listed at $14.99/month | Can be $0 using free presets, or subscription cost depending on controls/features used | BandLab Max adds advanced mastering EQ/reference features; annual Max was listed at $199 first year in the current FAQ. |
| Professional human mastering | Usually per-track / per-album | Common range cited by eMastered: about $50–$200 per track | eMastered cites roughly $500–$2,000+ for a 10-song album | Human mastering is a different service category and can include direct engineer judgment/revisions. |
What the comparison means
Music Forge is intentionally positioned as a low-cost automated finishing option for independent artists, especially album projects. The comparison should stay factual: it highlights price structure rather than claiming Music Forge replaces every benefit of a human mastering engineer or every feature in other platforms.
